Fourth draft complete

...of the magnum opus  - actually more of a restructuring, with some additional elements introduced.  They're a bit sketchy, as draft five is a thorough rewrite that's going to kick off in those awkward few days between Christmas and New Year.   


The new short story is going OK too - should get that polished off now before Santa comes a-calling...

Fresh short story en route

Day N of unseasonable coldness has provoked a short story idea which I'm working through at the mo.  Should have a full first draft by the end of the weekend, all things considered and may even pop it straight up here, seeing as I'm been slacking in that regard...
